On Wednesday October 24th at 8PM the Rutgers University Honors College Serve team & the Rutgers University Honors College Book Club will host the HC SBooks Book Drive & Service Event.
Guests are asked to bring new, like new and gently used books of all genres, for 5th through 8th grade readers.
These books are being contributed towards Hidden Gems Literary Emporium's effort of creating a library for the Middle School for Philosophy & Art in Brooklyn, NY. This school has not had a functioning library since the early 2000s.
Guests will also be packaging Halloween-themed goodie bags with books for New Brunswick, NJ elementary schoolers.
