Plainfield, NJ — Kaila Boulware, co-founder of Hidden Gems Literary Emporium, has been appointed to serve on the committee organizing the upcoming statewide youth conference in Plainfield, NJ.

The I Am Enough Conference, presented by The Chrysallis Project, connects high school girls together with mentors and experts to address key issues affecting youth across New Jersey — from self-expression to civic engagement and leadership.
The Chrysalis Project is a non-profit organization based in Plainfield, NJ with the founding principle to develop strong communities of young women who are Leaders, Motivators and Innovators.
Hidden Gems Literary Emporium is known for its work promoting literacy through free book programs, storytelling, educational workshops, and events that make reading fun and accessible for children and adults.
Her experience in launching and managing community-focused literary initiatives gives the committee valuable insight into how to engage young people meaningfully.
“Fostering a love of reading andd education is foundational to helping young people find their voice,” Boulware said. “Being part of this statewide conference allows us to spotlight stories and perspectives that often go unheard, and to inspire action in our communities.”
The statewide conference is scheduled for this fall in Plainfield, with workshops, panels, and interactive sessions planned. Organizers say the goal is to uplift youth voices and provide tools and networking opportunities so that students return home empowered, with concrete ideas to make positive change where they live.
