Hidden Gems Literary Emporium is a family-owned, non-profit, community bookstore

based in New Brunswick, NJ--and serving readers across the country.

 

Founded by 2 former Rutgers students, now husband and wife, Raymond and Kaila Sykes

created Hidden Gems Literary Emporium with a goal to make

literature accessible, affordable, and fun for all ages

while remaining dedicated to to cultivating

knowledge, wisdom & truths to all readers.

In addition to operating a donation-based bookstore,

Hidden Gems Literary Emporium also offers literary educational programming

for ages 1 to 100,

R.E.A.D Festivals & Conferences for school-aged learners, a

#1000FreeBookTour across the country annually,

and much more.

In addition to being out founders, Kaila and Raymond Sykes, are scholars, educators, public speakers, authors, and parents to 2 beautiful children, Truth & Wisdom.
